MANILA, July 31 (PNA) — EC Gas will cut its Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) price by Php1.10 per kilogram (kg) effective August 1.
With the rollback, EC Gas, which is under Eastern Petroleum, said its 11-kilogram cylinder will have a lower price of Php12.10. Refill will now cost Php565-585, depending on the store’s location.
Eastern Petroleum Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Fernando Martinez said the rollback reflects the downwards trend in the international contract price of LPG.
Last July, Eastern Petroleum had lowered its EC Gas products by Php4.00 per kg or Php44 for an 11-kilogram cylinder.
EC Gas is the only LPG company that offers fibreglass composite cylinders, while other companies use metal tanks. (PNA)
