MANILA, July 28 (PNA) — The Supreme Court (SC) en banc on Tuesday extended up to Monday next week the filing of applications for the 2015 Bar Examinations.
In a press conference, SC Public Information Office (PIO) Chief and Spokesman Atty. Theodore O. Te said that “the Court has approved the recommendation of the Chair of the 2015 Bar Examinations Committee, the Hon. Teresita J. Leonardo-De Castro, and the request of the Bar Confidant to extend up to Monday, August 3, 2015, the period to file applications for the 2015 Bar Examinations.”
The Office of the Bar Confidant will also be open to receive applications for the Bar on August 1 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The extension is prompted by the possibility of a disruption in the receipt of applications that may be caused by the Metro Manila-wide earthquake drill to be conducted by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Thursday. (PNA)
