Palace urges the public to tune in to the last State-of-the- Nation Address of President Aquino

Posted on July 26, 2015

MANILA, July 26 (PNA) — Malacañang urges the public to tune in to President Benigno Aquino S. III’s last State-of- the-Nation Address (SONA) on Monday.

The SONA is an annual tradition where “the President shall address the Congress at the opening of its regular session” as prescribed under Article 7, Section 23 of the Philippine Constitution.

The President will deliver his SONA at the House of Representatives plenary hall in Batasan Pambansa Complex, Batasan Hills, Quezon City Monday afternoon.

Coloma noted that the Philippine National Police will secure the area and will exercise maximum tolerance. He also appealed to protesters to observe an orderly rally.

(PNA)
