MANILA, July 20 (PNA) –- The Global Forum on Research and Innovation for Health (Forum 2015) is not just for the experts and stakeholders, as it also targets participation of the youth.
During the event on August 24-27 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Manila, youths can look forward to IT4Health, Global Health Debates (GHD) and the Forum 2015 Health Film Festival.
IT4Health aims to promote information technology (IT) solutions. Here, programmers and software developers may submit their proposed innovative health applications.
The organizers said the three best developers will have the chance to present their ideas in the Forum. They will also undergo a 5-day training workshop to help them make their ideas more marketable and sustainable.
Global health issues, meanwhile, will be the center of the GHD, wherein participants will share their interests and insights to the different topics from the forum.
The awarding for the film festival is also scheduled during the Forum. Deadline of entries for this was last July 15. The best entree will receive Php 100,000 while five shortlisted will get Php 15,000.
