BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, July 14 (PNA) — Talents and skills of special children in the province will be showcased during the province’s celebration of the 37th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) week on July 17-24.
Lita Tabudlo, provincial social welfare and development officer, said the celebration is in collaboration with the Kapisanan ng Mga May Kapansanan ng Nueva Vizcaya Inc. (KMMKNVI) and their partners from the national, provincial agencies and Municipal Social Welfare Officers (MSWOs).
The 37th NDPR week will be observed with the theme “Health and Wellness Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Towards Inclusive Development for All”.
The NDPR Week celebration will be launched on July 20 during the flag raising ceremony at the Provincial capitol in Bayombong town with the special children.
Special children are being assisted by the provincial government here through Special Education (SPED) centers in Solano, Bayombong, Bambang and Aritao towns.
Tabudlo also said that the week-long celebration will highlight the “1st Palarong Bayani sa Nueva Vizcaya” Paralympics at the provincial capitol.
“The event will be participated in by the persons with disability from the 15 municipalities of this province,” she said. (PNA)
