MANILA, July 11 (PNA) — With improving weather conditions, the number of stranded seagoing passengers has dropped to 104 nationwide as of 12 noon Saturday,greatly lower than the 330 as 4 a.m. Saturday, according to the Philippine Coast Guard.
It also said that immobilized vessels were placed at three and grounded motorbancas at nine while vessels taking shelter at Batangas were pegged at eight with motor bancas at one.
The figures for stranded passengers can be broken down into seven for Batangas, 10 for Aparri, 30 for Masbate, 38 for Camarines Sur and 19 for Sorsogon.
Figures for vessels preventing for leaving port are one for Batangas, one for Romblon and another one for Sorsogon.
While grounded motorbancas at one for Batangas, four for Aparri and another four for Masbate. (PNA)
