PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, July 9 (PNA) — The City Traffic Management Office (CTMO) plans to conduct a citywide seminar on road safety to prevent the occurrence of more vehicular accidents here.
CTMO chief Jonathan Maggay said the CTMO was planning to call a meeting with various motorcycle associations in Puerto Princesa to get their cooperation regarding the seminar.
He said that per report by the City Police Office (CPO), almost five vehicular accidents happen at night, and they usually involve motorcycle and tricycles with drivers who are drunk or slippery road due to the rainy season.
Maggay said they wanted motorists to take seriously the law against driving while under the influence of alcohol, using of cell phone and non-wearing of and other important traffic laws. (PNA)
