MANILA, July 8 (PNA) — Bad weather caused by typhoon “Falcon” prompted the cancellation of two flights to and from Caticlan, Aklan on Wednesday, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said in an advisory.
The cancelled flights were 5J 895 (Manila-Caticlan) and 5J 898 (Caticlan-Manila), both belonging to low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific.
State-run Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) earlier said that monsoon rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides will be experienced over the provinces of Mindoro, Palawan, Zambales and Bataan. (PNA)
