MANILA, July 4 (PNA) — Bad weather prompted flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) to cancel one of its international flights on Saturday, 6 pm.
“Flight PR 110 (Manila-Guam) has been declared cancelled due to tropical storm “Chan Hom” affecting the island-territory,” PAL said in an advisory.
PAL said that the flight’s original departure time from Manila was Saturday, 10:05 p.m..
The airline however assured affected passengers that they will be accommodated on Sunday’s (July 5) flight PR 110 (Manila-Guam) departing at 10:05 p.m.
Earlier, low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific also cancelled six domestic flights due to monsoon rains brought by tropical storm “Egay”.
These flights include 5J 529 (Manila-Busuanga), 5J 530 (Busuanga-Manila), 5J 504 (Manila-Tuguegarao), 5J 505 (Tuguegarao-Manila), 5J 506 (Manila-Tuguegarao), and 5J 507 (Tuguegarao-Manila).
Cebu Pacific has already arranged additional flights to re-accommodate the affected passengers. (PNA)
