MANILA, June 28 (PNA) — Singapore Airlines (SIA) on Sunday announced that it is set to launch its new concept SilverKris Lounge at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Wednesday, July 1.
According to the airline company, the lounge is part of the SGD 100-million worldwide investment to upgrade its airport lounges.
Manila is the very first station in South East Asia to receive the new concept.
SIA General Manager to the Philippines Carol Ong in a statement welcomed the airline company’s upcoming launch, expressing confidence that the lounge will play a role in elevating the aviation reputation of Manila.
“We are very excited to share that we will be launching our new concept SilverKris Lounge on July 1 at NAIA Terminal 3,” Ong said.
“This is part of a series of product enhancement that we are introducing to the local market this year and we strongly believe that this will be a boost to both business and leisure travel for Philippines,” she added.
Expected to attend the event are SIA Senior Vice President Products & Services, Tan Pee Teck, Singapore Ambassador to the Philippines HE Kok Li Peng; Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Usec. Jose Perpetuo M. Lotilla; and Department of Tourism (DOT) Usec. Benito C. Bengzon, Jr. (PNA)
