MANILA, June 22 (PNA) — The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM) is looking to reshuffle its priests every six years.
According to Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo, the movement of priests every six years is part of the plan, although no official announcement has been made.
“Nagkaroon pa lang ng malawakang reshuffle pero mula ngayon, ang balak ay magkakaroon ng reshuffle every six years ‘yung mga pari,” he said.
The Catholic prelate said that the transfer of priests has started under the archdiocese.
Pabillo explained that the movement of priests is part of the process and it will be good for the priests as well as the parishes.
The reshuffling of priests has been conducted in several dioceses such as Cubao and Pasig.
(PNA)
