OLA, Legazpi City, June 22 (PNA) -– As a showcase of the Kasurog Cops support to the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030 and Philippine National Police Strategic Focus CODE-P (Rationalize Rewards and Incentives System and Enhance Morale and Welfare Program), Chief Supt. Victor P. Deona, PNP-Bicol chief, awarded seven PNP personnel with Medalya ng Kagalingan.
Given awards during the Monday flag-raising ceremony held at the PRO5 grandstand were Supt. Ferdinand S. Raymundo, SPO3 Ronald F. Magpantay, SPO1 Rodel M. Maravilla, PO3 Larry B. Villafuerte, and PO1 Karla P. Reforsado.
The seven police officers were awarded with Medalya ng Kagalingan in recognition of their distinct accomplishment as team leader and members of the operating team of Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office for the arrest of Marciana R. Gutierres and the confiscation of 346.927 grams of “shabu” in a buy-bust operation on June 9 at Barangay Paloyon Proper, Nabua, Camarines Sur.
“Their sterling performance contributed in the campaign of the PNP against illegal drugs, thus, earning credit not only for themselves but also for the PNP,” Deona said.
Director Bryan B. Babang, regional director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office V, was the guest of honor during the Monday flag-raising ceremony.
Deona and his staff assisted Babang in awarding the deserving PNP personnel. (PNA)
