BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, June 15 (PNA) — The Cooperative Development Authority(CDA) here is set to conduct the Indigenous People’s Congress on Cooperativism(IPCC) by the end of this month in a bid to improve the plight of various cooperatives especially in the upland areas of the province.
Arthur Palafox, CDA’s provincial cooperative specialist, said the IPCC will be held at the Tam-an Resort in Barangay Busilac in this town.
“This will serve as a venue to address various issues and concerns confronting the various cooperatives managed by our IPs,” he said.
At present, Palafox said there are ailing IP cooperatives in the province needing assistance and rebuilding efforts inorder to sustain their development services for their members. (PNA)
