BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, June 9 (PNA) — The provincial government here has started the construction of the P40.5 million-worth conference center to accommodate and house local and foreign tourists in the province.
The 1,000 capacity conference center will be put–up within the Lower Magat Eco-Tourism Park (LMET) in Barangay San Luis in Diadi town.
“Recently, we have conducted a groundbreaking of the project which will start up the initial works for the project,” said Governor Ruth Padilla.
The LMET Conference Center is one of the major infrastructure projects of the provincial government in the province to boost its tourism potentials.
The Conference Center will be located at the lawn behind the Narra Hall (the first building to reach upon entering the LMET premises). The center will be fully air-conditioned and will accommodate around 1,000 persons.
Funded from the 20-percent Development Fund of 2013 and 2014, the mega conference center will be a fully air-conditioned structure, proponents said. (PNA)
