MANILA, June 4 (PNA) — Homegrown brand Potato Corner targets to reach 100 stores in the global market by the end of this year, Potato Corner Chief Executive Officer Jose P. Magsaysay Jr. told reporters on Thursday.
Magsaysay, on the sidelines of press conference of the Franchise Asia Philippines 2015 in Makati City, said Potato Corner would open 10 new stores in other countries on top of its 90 stores abroad.
He said that among the markets being look at included Singapore, Thailand, China, and Mexico.
Currently, the Filipino food franchisor is present in the markets of the United States, Australia, Dubai, Panama, and Indonesia.
Magsaysay said that Potato Corner would also expand in the local market with the opening of 60 new stores at end-2015.
To date, Potato Corner has 550 outlets both in local and global markets. (PNA)
