MASBATE CITY, June 4 (PNA) — Masbate officer-in-charge governor Vince B. Revil on Thursday commended San Pascual town for its good presentation of its recent Isla Rancho Festival, which has gained publicity nationwide.
Revil said the success of the town’s festivity, which was even featured in the ANC TV Channel in Manila, will contribute in building a good image for the province.
“Isla Rancho Festival celebration is a tourism approach that will bring hope for Masbateños in some part of Burias Island where San Pascual town lies,” he said.
Revil pointed out that the Isla Rancho Festival is a closely-related festivity to the big Rodeo Festival event in the province that will enhance the province’s unique identity, being the Rodeo Capital of the Philippines.
He also extended his best regards to all organizers of the town’s celebration headed by Municipal Mayor Zaki Lazaro.
“This festival will certainly help bring more tourists and investors to the island that will result in more job opportunities to our people,” Revil said.(PNA)
