Pacific Online Systems Corp. renews partnership with Globe Business

Posted on May 27, 2015

MANILA, May 27 (PNA) — Globe Business, the corporate ICT arm of Globe Telecom, once again gained the trust of Pacific Online Systems Corporation (POSC) as the management systems and software provider renewed its partnership with the leading telco for all outside contract VPN Express (private network) connectivity requirements.

POSC’s core business is in providing operating and management systems for the gaming industry of the Philippines, providing technical and market expertise for the distribution of lottery products in the country in partnership with the state-run Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

POSC is engaged in the development and management of on-line computer systems, terminals, and software for the Philippine gaming industry.

Currently commanding a 60% market share of POSC’s total telecommunications requirements, Globe Business has been providing connectivity services to POSC for over a decade now. Globe has successfully protected existing business with the POSC by bundling value-added service solutions and superior account management and customer service with the POSC over the years.

“Being in the IT and gaming industry, a loss of connectivity entails high losses in our revenues. This is why we have chosen to entrust our business connectivity requirements to Globe Business. We can focus on growing our enterprise confident that we can rely on Globe Business for seamless connection and business continuity,” says Willy Ocier, chairman and president of Pacific Online Systems Corporation.

“We are delighted to be POSC’s trusted partner over the last ten years on the back of our tested partnership with them. Their organization has used customer service, portfolio of high value-added solutions, and customized consultancy-based business approach as criteria in choosing a telecom and ICT partner, and we’re very happy it’s Globe Business,” said Globe SVP for Enterprise Group Nikko Acosta.
