ILOILO CITY, April 27 (PNA) — Western Visayas introduces new tourism circuits this Visit Philippines Year 2015 to cater to different types of tourists, both domestic and international. The much anticipated novel route includes Bacolod – Talisay – Silay in Negros Occidental, Iloilo – Guimaras, Northern Iloilo – Capiz, and Antique – Aklan.

Highlighting the Bacolod – Talisay – Silay tourism circuits are the heritage and culture, nature and adventure, farm, ecotourism and learning mix, sports, and special events, which the three cities are famous for.

Included in Bacolod City’s tourism circuit are famous attractions within the city proper, north and south of Metro Bacolod, Metro Bacolod south extension, Metro Bacolod north extension, the Lacson Strip and food crafts, Bacolod suburbs, golf and country clubs, football and other sports facilities and the recently opened SMX Convention Center.

Talisay’s places of interest will comprise heritage houses and the famous The Ruins, resorts and nature parks and festivals while Silay organized its tour into the Ciudad experience, which features the several ancestral houses, the Bukid experience (upland) highlighting the best places for adventure seekers, the Baybay experience (seashore), the Uma experience (sugarcane estate and organic farm) and special events.

“Western Visayas is a region of diverse culture, fun-filled adventure and rich glorious past, which primarily contributed in creating the region’s distinct character.
