Globe Business boosts productivity of IT solutions firm with Google Apps

Posted on April 24, 2015

MANILA, April 24 (PNA) — Globe Business, the corporate ICT arm of Globe Telecom, is leading the adoption of cloud services in the PH enterprise industry as it offers Google Apps services to one of the country’s top IT solutions firms.

Leading IT solutions and trusted strategic consultancy firm MDI & Novare Technologies, which specializes in enterprise and mobility solutions specific to financial institutions, telecommunications, and retail, recently signed a partnership with Globe Business through its IT Enabled Services Group (IG) for use of over 200 Google Apps licenses that will boost work productivity and collaboration among its employees. With Google Apps, they can efficiently manage their client base with a set of cloud-based communication and collaboration tools from Google designed to help people work from anywhere on any device.

Users will also be able to use intuitive consumer technology like Gmail and Google+ Hangouts at work. The service allows employees to create, share and work on files with the whole team in real-time with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides and store them all in the cloud with Google Drive.

Globe IT Enabled Services Group Vice President Rey Lugtu said, “Google Apps has been one of the most sought-after solutions that we offer given the ease and efficiency it brings to companies. Now that MDI & Novare Technologies has Google Apps, employees will be able to proficiently manage their work and even promote collaboration among their teams.”

“We prioritize solutions that we know will increase productivity in the company. We are always on the lookout for services from Globe Business such as Google Apps to equip our employees with the best tools to help them with their day-to-day operations,” adds Myla Villanueva, Chairman and CEO of MDI & Novare Technologies.

Switching to Google Apps for Work is easy for IT and for end-users. With data migration capabilities for all common legacy systems included in the telco’s deployment services, companies can transition quickly with minimal disruption. There are also hundreds of applications in the Google Apps Marketplace — from accounting software to project management tools.

Globe IG serves the IT requirements of businesses from small and medium enterprises to large corporations, empowering them with a large platform of best-in-class infrastructure such as industry-accredited data centers, cloud solutions and managed services, a portfolio of business applications like machine-to-machine and productivity tools, as well as reliable connectivity.
