MANILA, April 20 (PNA) – The Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) on Monday announced that three of its vice presidents will be stepping down next month.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, PLDT Corporate Secretary Lourdes Rausa-Chan wrote that the three vice presidents were stepping down effective May 1 due “separation from service.”
“The aforementioned event is not expected to have any significant impact on the Company’s current or future operations, financial position or results of operations,” Rausa-Chan said.
The vice presidents include PLDT First Vice President Anna Isabel V. Bengzon, First Vice President Miguela F. Villanueva, and Vice President Jose A. Apelo.
PLDT’s disclosure, however, did not detail the cause of the separation from service. (PNA)
