BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, April 20 (PNA) –The Department of Public Works and Highways(DPWH) has assured the funding of the proposed by-pass road projects for the province to address heavy traffic in two towns.
The by-pass road projects which will be constructed in Solano and Bambang towns is now awaiting funding from the DPWH.
“We talked with DPWH secretary Rogelio Singson recently and he assured us that these projects will go on and be further funded so that it will be implemented later,” said Representative Carlos Padilla.
Last year, Representative Padilla, DPWH, provincial and municipal government officials of Bambang and Solano were consulted and oriented on the proposed by-pass road projects designed to ease traffic along the national highway in both towns.
With the positive consent of both local government units, a feasibility study has been prepared by the DPWH and now up for funding, Padilla said. (PNA)
