VILLAVERDE, Nueva Vizcaya. April 6 (PNA) — At least 10 business establishments in various barangays here recently registered their business name through the Department of Trade and Industry’s(DTI) Mobile Business Name Registration(MBNR) services.
Rowena Mayangat, DTI’s consumer welfare and institutional development division chief, said they have conducted the MBNR to provide an enabling environment for businesses to grow in the municipality through grass roots approach of bringing the services closer to the business sector.
Of the 54 business establishments visited, 10 of these availed of their MBNR.Business Name and Registration(BNR) is one of the principal front-line services of the DTI and it aims to maintain a nationwide registry of business names mainly on sole proprietorship.
A business name is simply a name of title under which a person or other legal entity trades. It does not only identify an entrepreneur to his customers but also allows him to differentiate himself from competitors and enables the customers to make a distinction as to the product or service these establishments sell.
