LAOAG CITY, March 20 (PNA) –More and more Ilocanos and tourists take advantage of the extended night trips currently being tested in the province with at least four pilot destinations connecting prime tourist destinations here.
Assigned checkers from the Provincial Tourism Office who are monitoring the number of night passengers said hundreds of commuters mostly students and several foreign and local tourists benefit from it.
Since March 6, the Metro Ilocos Norte Council has introduced four specific routes of extended night trips from Laoag City all the way to Pagudpud, Dingras and Paoay and vice versa every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Located at the west Capitol parking area as the central terminal equipped with waiting chairs and movable shades, late night commuters can now avail of this new night express service with the same fare during the day.
Clean comfort rooms are also available at the back of the Capitol compound for passengers’ convenience.
Departure times to Laoag City from the pilot destinations are the following:

For a period of six months from March 6 to August 31, 2015, commuters shall enjoy standard fares while trying to improve the transport system in the province.(PNA)
