KIDAPAWAN CITY, March 15 (PNA) – The provincial government of North Cotabato has turned over six infrastructure projects to Magpet, one of the communist infiltrated towns in the province.
North Cotabato Gov. Emmylou Mendoza identified the projects aimed at improving the lives of the locals with massive government services as a water reservoir (P500,000) in Barangay Bagumbayan National High School, a concrete Barangay Hall (P600,000) and one water system (P500,000) in Barangay Sallab, electrification project (P1.7M) in Barangay Imamaling, a covered court (P1.5M) in Barangay Manobo, a water system (P500,000).
Also turned over was a post-harvest facility (corn miller) in Barangay Kinarum funded by the Department of Agriculture and PAMANA program.
Mendoza said the projects form part of her administration’s “serbisyong totoo” program aimed at alleviating poverty in poor communities.
She said more infrastructure projects like road rehab and road concreting, water systems, multi-purpose buildings, covered courts, foot bridges and water ways are already due for implementation in various communities of North Cotabato. (PNA)
