Real property developer targets Php2-B production in SoMin this year

Posted on March 12, 2015

DAVAO CITY, March 12 (PNA) — After a good production year in 2014, the Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) increased its production for Southern Mindanao this year to Php2 billion.

Filinvest First vice president for Visayas and Mindanao Tristan Las Marias said the region performed well last year and it earned the highest growth to company sales year on year.

Las Marias added the Davao market has become bigger and there are a lot of new things to do.

He said they are planning to come up with various products this year even without mentioning how much fund they will roll out for their projects but he pointed out that their projects are still in the exploratory stage. “But we will develop new ones for this year,” he said.

“We wanted to create product that is easy to market,” he added.

FLI’s first MRB (medium rise building) project has been doing well, he said, noting that the delivery of products is on schedule. He disclosed that they are into the last construction of the six buildings that comprise One Oasis Davao.

He said their other project, the 8 Spatial, an affordable MRB condo, has been doing good.

On the other hand, Las Marias further announced they are in the process of scouting raw lands because part of their projects is geared towards affordable housing. It will be our next product offering, he said.

He said they are looking at locations in the south and also along Buhangin and Cabantian area in Davao City.

Las Marias also noted the good opportunities especially in Davao being the center of business and commerce. He said housing projects and the real estate industry remain strong with the entry of other Manila-based big industry players to Davao.

He said it is a good sign that there are a lot of potentials here. (PNA)
