CITY OF ILAGAN, Feb. 16 (PNA) — The ten-megawatt hydro-electric power plant in this city will push through as approved despite the withdrawal of the same oil development company to develop the hydro project in Buguias, Benguet.
This was the assurance of Ilagan City Mayor Josemarie Diaz on Monday (February 16) as the service contract of the ten-megawatt hydro-electric project has been in place and that the Trans-Asia Oil and energy Development Corporation, the commissioned company, has approved a two-year pre-development stage.
”The oil company has noted that the project has been very feasible in our place,” he added.
Trans-Asia officials have earlier been ecstatic on the project, noting a “very feasible” hydro-electric power here.
Earlier, the Trans-Asia has publicly surrendered to the Department of Energy through the stock exchange disclosure the entire contract area of the ten-megawatt hydropower project in Benguet.(PNA)
