WASHINGTON — (U.S. ASIAN WIRE) — We are overwhelmed with a profound sense of loss and sadness over the death of former President Cory Aquino. She will always be remembered for her inspiring leadership during the People Power revolution that restored freedom and democracy in the Philippines. Her faith in God and in the Filipino people will continue to stir our hearts and spirits, moving us to always strive as she did – with the utmost humility and grace – to serve a cause larger than ourselves.
We offer our condolences to the Aquino family and pray to the Lord to bless and keep them during their time of grief, to lift up His countenance upon them and give them peace.
