MANILA, Jan 25 (PNA) — Bad weather prompted the cancellation of six domestic flights on Sunday, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said in an advisory.
MIAA said that among flights cancelled include two Cebu Pacific flights namely 5J 625 (Manila-Dumaguete), and 5J 626 (Dumaguete-Manila).
Also cancelled were two PAL Express flights namely 2P 5545 (Manila-Dumaguete), and 2P 5546 (Dumaguete-Manila).
There were also two Tigerair Philippines flights to and from Tacloban cancelled namely DG 5543 (Manila-Tacloban), and DG 5544 (Tacloban-Manila).
State-run weather bureau PAGASA earlier predicted Eastern and Central Visayas and CARAGA region to experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains. (PNA)
