PALO, Leyte, Dec. 11 (PNA) -– The province of Leyte achieved zero casualty from typhoon “Ruby”, the provincial disaster risk reduction management office (PDDRMO) reported, citing preliminary reports from local government units.
Arvin Monge, head of Leyte PDRRMO said the two deaths earlier reported by police in the aftermath of Ruby were found to be not related to the recent typhoon that crossed the region.

Monge said that local government units are given until Friday to report confirmed typhoon Ruby casualties for the provincial government to come up with a conclusion.
