MANILA, Dec. 8 (PNA) -– The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued an orange rainfall warning alert in Calabarzon and a yellow warning alert in the National Capital Region (NCR) and four Central Luzon provinces due to the passing of storm “Ruby” Monday night.
Based on its facebook page, PAGASA said Calabarzon, composed of the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Quezon, has an orange alert which signifies flooding might threaten low-lying areas and incur possible landslides in mountainous areas.
On the other hand, PAGASA has also issued a yellow warning alert in Metro Manila, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.
The areas under yellow alert are expected to have flooding in low-lying areas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
