Posted on December 8, 2014

MANILA, Dec 8 (PNA) — As operations in the airline are still in the process of normalizing in the onslaught of storm “Ruby”, 13 domestic flights of Philippine Airlines (PAL) will remain cancelled Tuesday (Dec 9).

In a statement, PAL said that the seven cancelled roundtrip flights include:

Manila-Ozamiz-Manila flight 2P2889/2890; Manila-Roxas-Manila 2P2201/2202; Manila-Puerto-Princesa-Manila 2P2781/2782; Manila-Butuan-Manila 2P2967/2968; Manila-Zamboanga-Manila 2P2993/2994; Manila-Tagbilaran-Manila 2P2771/2772; Manila-Basco-Manila 2P2084/2085.

Another six one-way flights will also not operate, including:

Manila-Davao 2P2809; Manila-Iloilo 2P2939; Manila-Bacolod 2P2913; Manila-Cebu 2P2841 & 2P2845; and Manila-Dumaguete 2P2545.

PAL said that several aircraft that were parked at different domestic airports during the onslaught of ‘Ruby’ will be returning to Manila on Tuesday morning and repositioned for their flight assignments of the day.

The airline, however assured that passengers of these flights will be accommodated on the next available flights.

At present, PAL’s contact centers continue to contact affected passengers. The airline said that passengers may rebook for travel within 30 days from original flight date, with rebooking fees/charges waived.

However, if passenger is unable to rebook on the same fare class, rebooking on a higher booking class will be allowed, with fare difference also waived. (PNA)
