MANILA, Sept. 9 (PNA) — Cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers will continue in most parts of the country in the next 24 hours, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Adminstration (PAGASA) on Tuesday.
In its 5 p.m advisory, PAGASA said the monsoon trough across Luzon continues to be the dominant weather system affecting the country.
PAGASA said Luzon and Visayas will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms on Wednesday while Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
It added moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest to south will prevail over the western section of Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest to south with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
