CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Aug. 27 (PNA) — Four suspected drug dealers were arrested Monday in a buy-bust operation conducted by Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (PAIDSOTG), in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3.

Senior Supt. Madrid said the suspects were arrested in a drug sting operation conducted in Purok 6, Barangay San Pedro Cutud.

Confiscated from the suspects were 67 plastic sachets containing shabu and the marked money used in the operation.

The provincial director said the suspects are presently in the custody of the Pampanga Police Provincial Intelligence Branch for document pending processing and filing of appropriate charges.

The four suspects will be facing cases for the violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 also known as Section 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165.

With this, Madrid lauded all the personnel of PAIDSOTG/PIB for their accomplishment and their relentless effort in eradicating illegal drugs in the province. (PNA)
