MANILA, Aug. 25 (PNA) — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has announced it will be holding a public auction through sealed bidding of white rice and glutinous rice worth more than Php 300 million.
The bidding will be conducted on Aug. 28, 2014 at 2:30 p.m., Office of the District Collector, Manila International Container Port (MICP) Building, North Harbor, Isla Puting Bato, Tondo, Manila.
The following will be available for auction: a) 70×20’ containers; White rice more or less 36,400 bags x 50kg/bag, Floor price: Php 47,028,800; b) 80×20’ containers; Glutinous rice, more or less 41,595 bags x 50kg/bag; Floor price: Php 71,980,147.50; c) 70×20’ containers; Glutinous rice more or less 36,400 bags x 50kg/bag; Floor price: Php 62,990,200;d) 30×20’ containers; Glutinous rice more or less 15,598 bags x 50kg/bag; Floor price: Php 26,992,339; e) 75×20’ containers; White rice more or less 39,000 bags x 50kg/bag; Floor price: Php 50,388,000; f) 60×20’ containers; White rice, more or less 31,200 bags x 50kg/bag; Floor price: Php 40,310,400.
The said articles shall be available for viewing and pre-bid conference on Aug. 27, 2014.
Interested bidders are asked to file a Registration Form (with name, address and TIN) at least two days prior to the day of auction and a payment of Php 2,000 registration fee (non-refundable). (PNA)
