Accton Wireless Broadband Participates In WiMAX Congress Asia 2009

Series of new mobile WiMAX terminal devices will be exhibited at booth #21

HSINCHU, Taiwan, April 27 /PRNewswire-Asia/ — Accton Wireless Broadband Corp. (AWB) participates in WiMAX Congress Asia 2009 at Suntec Singapore and will showcase a series of new 802.16e-2005 wave 2 compliant WiMAX CPEs during 4/28~4/29 at booth #21 including indoor and outdoor IAD and USB adapter equipped with various configurations.

During this two-day’s event, AWB will showcase its complete ranges of WiMAX CPE products from entry level to high-end solutions.

— 802.16e Wave 2 WiMAX Indoor IAD supports TR069 remote management,
Ethernet, VoIP and WiFi connectivity function.
— 802.16e Wave 2 WiMAX Outdoor IAD supports TR069 remote management,
Ethernet, VoIP and WiFi connectivity function and is compliant with
IP67 waterproof standard.
— 802.16e Wave 2 WiMAX Network Adapter supports CD-less installation.

Along with the increased market demand of WiMAX deployments from emerging countries, more and more operators are seeking for carrier-grade WiMAX terminals with competitive price and reliable performance. Above all, they are seeking for the terminals offering customized features to be able to support bandwidth consuming applications such as triple play, security surveillance, online gaming and etc.
