MANILA, July 8 (PNA) — Greenergy Holdings Incorporated (GHI) has purchased 27 million shares from an Agrinurture Inc (ANI) stockholder, worth P113,744,736 million.
Based on a disclosure with the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) Tuesday, GHI has acquired the 27 million stocks for an amount of P4.21 per share, totalling an estimated P113.8 million.
The 27 million shares are equivalent to 4.34 percent of the company’s issued stock, which is currently at 186,327,856,500.
The disclosure added that the payment includes the taxes to be paid by the shareholder, along with the upcoming commissions to be received by the holder from the said stocks.
With the development, Greenergy Holdings Inc. now owns 30.26 percent of Agrinurture Inc.
For the past months, GHI has been buying shares from the company, both through direct transactions with ANI and with its stockholders.
Greenergy Holdings Incorporated is engaged into semi-conductors, energy, real estate development and food.
Meanwhile, Agrinurture Inc. is involved in the production and marketing of fruit beverages, dried fruit snacks, processed fruit mix, frozen fruits and vegetables, along with dairy and rice products. (PNA)
