LUCENA CITY, Quezon, July 2 (PNA) -– The people of Lucena are very much satisfied with the services the local government has been providing, as was revealed in the recently conducted Citizens Satisfaction Index System o CSIS survey jointly carried out by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Southern Luzon State University (SLSU).
Respondents all expressed positive feedback concerning programs by the city government that include projects which promote education, health, agriculture and environmental management.
Even though the respondents did not have adequate information about the city government’s efforts, the DILG still rated the survey as “satisfying” based on the positive feedback of residents, particularly those who have availed of the LGU’s numerous livelihood projects.
The CSIS is being conducted simultaneously in the country based on DILG Circular No. 2012-113 with specific objective of obtaining the populace’ opinions and feedback on their respective LGUs’ services and results from the surveys shall be the basis of formulating measures to address prevailing needs and problems of the community.
