MANILA, June 5 (PNA) — Property giant Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) will develop and operate a new Mandarin Oriental Manila that is set to open its doors by 2020.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, ALI said its wholly-owned subsidiary, AyalaLand Hotels and Resorts Corp., has signed a long-term management agreement with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
“This is in line with the company’s thrust of expanding its hotels and resorts business portfolio,” it said.
The new Mandarin Oriental Manila will be featuring 275 spacious rooms complemented by an extensive range of modern amenities, including a premium selection of restaurants and a signature spa.
The existing 442-room Mandarin hotel will close later this year. (PNA)
