ALAMINOS CITY, June 5 (PNA)–The famous Hundred Islands National Park (HINP) here will showcase another attraction when it opens its first zipline facility on June 7 in a simple program at the Quezon Island.
Alaminos City Mayor Arthur Celeste said the zipline, which will also be managed by the city government, is seen as another attraction that will further boost the tourist arrivals in the Hundred Islands.
The zipline is 180 meters long traversing the Quezon Island beachfront.
He said construction of another zipline, said to be 500 meters long, will soon be underway and is expected to be finished in August this year to connect Virgin Island and Governor’s Island.
Aside from the zipline facilities, the city will also launch other activities like rappelling and wall climbing.
These attractions will be in addition to the existing water sports activities being offered at the HINP like helmet diving, snorkeling, diving, and kayaking. (PNA)
