ILOILO CITY, Feb. 27 (PNA) -– The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Iloilo City Government here has facilitated the direct hiring at one time only of 88 persons for deployment at the new McDonald’s fast food center in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog was enthusiastic of the employment opportunities given to some residents of this city and said he is looking forward to more deployment for work abroad of the local working force.
PESO Manager Ma. Elena Benitez said the deployment of city workers is made possible by YHMD Int’l Manpower Services Inc., a registered recruitment agency by the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) and the Department of Labor and Employment.
The recruitment agency demands no placement fee and processing fee and the recruited first batch out of 179 applicants will leave by early March for Riyadh KSA.
The recruitment is ongoing for 50 general maintenance personnel, 30 assistant managers, 500 service crews, 50 star party hosts and 200 delivery men with valid driver’s license.
The contract is two years renewable with a starting salary of P14,000 with free food, accommodation, transportation, medical tests in Saudi and free residence certificate.
Benitez said the PESO is currently updating its registry of pool applicants in different positions ready for the recruitment agencies to conduct personal interviews with applicants. (PNA)
