MANILA, Dec. 12 (PNA) –A powerful aftershock from last Oct. 15 magnitude-7.2 quake that shook Central Visayas was felt in the province of Bohol on Thursday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, the agency said the aftershock with a magnitude of 3.6 occurred at 9:51 a.m., with the epicenter at 27 km northwest of Tagbilaran City, which felt the quake at Intensity 3.
Phivolcs said the aftershock was felt at Intensity 2 in Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu.
Phivolcs said that as of 8:00 a.m. of Dec. 11 it recorded 4,215 aftershocks, 119 of which were felt.
The magnitude 7.2 earthquake that struck Central Visayaslast October 15 has injured hundreds and damaged many property across the region. (PNA)
