Sharon: Prove Kiko’s infidelity

Posted on October 18, 2008

PNS — MEGASTAR Sharon Cuneta and Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan are one of the country’s famous couples; thus, intrigues do not spare them.

It is really inevitable because Sharon and Kiko come from showbiz and politics. Whatever they say, whatever they do is always a good material for controversy. As it is, they are now embroiled in yet another controversy.

Based on published reports, Kiko allegedly has sired a child from another woman who happened to be a member of his staff. This is not the first time that this issue was talked about. In fact, it already came out last year.

But what is more intriguing is why this issue was resurrected. Wala namang pelikulang pinu-promote si Sharon at malayo pa naman ang eleksyon para mangampanya si Kiko. As such, others believe that there must be an iota of truth to this issue. Sabi nga nila, ‘pag may usok… may apoy!

This issue has been blown out of proportion because some friends of the couple got into the picture. Of course, they have their own perceptions and opinions, but to give their statements a resemblance of truth is unfair to the couple.

Yes, there might be a glitch to their marriage. But that is normal to any couple. Obviously, what transpires between the two of them in the confines of their bedroom is none of anyone’s business.

Sharon seems to be annoyed by all these intrigues. But since they don’t spare her, she now challenges anyone who can prove that Kiko indeed has another family. With her character, Sharon is a typical woman who calls a spade a spade. And she calls it quits when fed-up. After all, Sharon is Sharon. She is definitely a woman of her own.

And that is the trouble with Kiko for marrying somebody like Sharon. To paraphrase her quote, “kung niloloko niya ako eh di sabay-sabay natin siyang iwanan.” This will be a kiss of death to his political ambition. Sa totoo lang, mas paniniwalaan si Sharon kaysa kay Kiko. Kaya siguradong alam ng huli kung ano ang consequence nito dahil matalino rin siya.

Actually, the real big issue with the Megastar is her weight. She may not look depressed; but she seems to be an emotional eater of late. Probably, that’s the sign of her burnout with this controversy.

Speaking of burnout, Sharon was already piqued when she arrived from Hong Kong. When asked to comment about the issue, “Burnout!” was what she sharply replied.

Is Sharon really burned out of the issue or of her marriage with Kiko? Just asking…
