MANILA (PNA) — After the management commitee of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) failed to come up with a decision regarding San Beda College (SBC) guard Ryusei Koga’s case, the NCAA Season 89 Men’s Basketball Final Four will kick off as scheduled on Thursday at the Mall Of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The top-seed San Beda Red Lions will put their twice to beat advantage at stake when they collide against fourth seed University of Perpetual Help Altas in their senior’s semifinal showdown at 2:30 p.m. in the last game of Thursday’s triple header.
Moreover,the second seeded Letran Knights who also holds a twice to beat incentive will clash against third seed San Sebastian Stags in their own Final Four pairing at 12:30 pm.
Both the Stags and Altas are on the brink of elimination because they have to defeat the Knights and the Red Lions for two consecutive times in order to reach the finals.
However, the first game will feature the Junior’s stepladder skirmish of the CSB-LSGH Greenies and the Mapua Red Robins at 10 a.m.
