MANILA, (PNA) — Shell Philippines and Petron Corporation imposed oil price hike effective 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.
In separate text advisories, Shell and Petron increased 35 centavos per liter for diesel while an increase of 20 centavos per liter for kerosene was implemented.
Both oil companies retained the prices of their gasoline product.
Shell and Petron said the oil price hike excludes Cebu and Bohol.
Adjustment on the fuel price was caused by movements in the international oil market.
According to Department of Energy (DoE), average price of diesel in Metro Manila as of October 27 was at P43.30 per liter while gasoline stood at P55.50 per liter.
