DAVAO CITY, (PNA) -– A 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolted Sarangani town in Davao del Sur late Tuesday night, the latest earthquake information of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) showed.
The tremor was recorded at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, 188 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. It has a tectonic origin with a depth of 106 kilometers.
No immediate damage nor injury was reported as of this writing.
It can be recalled that the town was shaken by a 6.6 magnitude earthquake August last year but no heavy destruction was recorded.
