Nueva Vizcaya PLGU allots P97.5M for infra projects

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, (PNA) — The provincial government here has recently allotted P97.5 million for the development and improvement of roads, bridges and other infrastructure in the province.

The fund, Governor Ruth Padilla said are included in the Annual Investment Plan (IP) of the province for 2014.

The fund features the construction of the Besong Bridge in Kayapa town, the Bintawan-Ibung-Nangalisan-Lamut road in Villaverde town, the La torre-Casat-Wacal-Solano road in Solano town, the Baresbes-Nalubbunan-Calliat-Darubba road in Quezon town, the Bayombong-Masoc-Ambaguio road and the Bambang-Pingkian road stretching from Barangay Pingkian-San Fabian in Kayapa town.

The PLGU, Padilla also said made the presence of available equipments like bulldozers, loaders and backhoes in strategic places to be able to provide quick responses whenever there exist barriers to commuters since these road networks and linkages shall further enhance capabilities of farmers to transport their products to the markets that can be of big help to boost the local economy.

“All these improvements will be done to improve infrastructure support to our agricultural sector and other programs and services,” Padilla said.
