BALANGA CITY, Bataan, (PNA) -– The conduct of barangay election in the province is running smoothly and peacefully.
Except for some reports of voters finding it hard to locate their names in the voters’ list posted outside classrooms that served as polling precincts, police officers manning polling places said there were no reports of elections violence so far in the province.
Long lines of voters were also observed in polling precincts in the towns of Samal, Abucay, Limay, Mariveles and in this city.
As of 11 a.m., the number of voters were thinning.
However, the board of election inspectors said they expect voters to be in full force again at 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
