OLONGAPO CITY, (PNA) -– The conduct of barangay election here is generally peaceful with there is no report of election-related incidents.
City election officer lawyer Dictador Untayao said that since the start of voting Monday morning, “everything is going smoothly and orderly.”
”The situation is still peaceful as of press time because of the maximum deployment and assistance of the members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) here,” Untayao said.
In the Olongapo City District Jail of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, meanwhile, 73 inmates cast their votes in Barangay Barretto, this city.
