Arrow Opens Office in Vietnam

HONG KONG, Aug. 4 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ — Arrow Asia Pac Ltd., a business unit of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW), announced that it has established a new office in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam. The office serves customers from all market segments, offering a wide range of semiconductors, passive, electromechanical and connector products from over 200 leading international and local suppliers. Vietnam is regarded as the emerging electronic components market in the ASEAN region, where a growing number of manufacturers and customers are located.

“Several years ago we made the decision to serve Vietnam from our various offices in the ASEAN region. Because of Vietnam’s accelerated growth in manufacturing, we have now decided to open an office in Ho Chi Minh City to better serve our rapidly expanding customer and supplier base there,” said Natarajan MM, vice president for Arrow ASEAN.
