MANILA, (PNA) — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has issued an “Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order” (ILBO) against several individuals, including former President and now Pampanga (2nd District) Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and former Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita, who were linked to the alleged anomalous use of the P900-million Malampaya Fund.
Pursuant to the memorandum of Justice Secretary Leila M. De Lima, BI Officer-in-Charge Siegfred B. Mison instructed all Immigration Officers (IOs) to be on the lookout for those personalities who were charged in connection with the Malampaya Fund scam.
The other personalities included in the ILBO are Nasser C. Pangandaman, Narciso B. Nieto, Rolando G. Andaya Jr., Mario L. Relampagos, Teresita L. Panlilio, Angelita V. Cacananta, Nilda P. Baui, Dominador V. Sison, Jr., Ronald J. Venancio, Rene E. Maglanque, Janet Lim Napoles, Ruby C. Tuason, Evelyn De Leon, Jesus Castillo, Lilian A. Espanol, Genevieve G. Uy, Ronald John Lim alias John Lim, Eulogio D. Rodriguez, Lorna Ramirez, Ronald Francisco Lim, Simplicio M. Gumafelix, and John Raymund S. De Asis.
Mison ordered all IOs to be on alert in the event that these individuals pass through immigration counters in any of the country’s international airports and seaports.
He also advised all IOs to ensure that all incumbent government officials and employees may be allowed to leave the country only with corresponding travel authority from their heads of offices pursuant to E.O. No.459 which is implemented on Sept. 1, 2005.
